Meet Akarsh Garg, who was planning to go to USA to pursue his undergraduate studies. When he first approached us, he did not have a very high SAT score and was tensed about not being able to get into a top school. Akarsh apprised us with his future plans and told us that he plans to start up an Entrepreneurial Support Centre (ESC) in India once he completes his undergraduate education in Economics and for this purpose he wants to go to a school where he can network with like-minded people.
Through careful analysis of Akash’s profile, it was discovered that he had prolific academic achievements along with a variety of extra-curricular engagements. We assured Akarsh that SAT score is never the sole criteria for getting into a top University, but one needs to stand out among the pool of candidates by showcasing his candidature through compelling essays and write-ups. Our team highlighted all his activities, internships, awards and achievements in a well strategized manner in the essays and shortlisted universities that aligned with his long-term goals.
Akarsh was surprised and on cloud nine when he got acceptances from Boston University, University of California (Davis), Purdue University and a few more.
